After a five-hour discussion on April 2, the interdepartmental committee of the Ministry of Environment and Water Affairs (MOEW) turned down the environmental assessment of the amendments of Tsarevo municipality master plan for re-design, the coalition of 30 non-governmental environmental organisations To Sustain the Nature in Bulgaria (SNB) said in a statement. Commenting on its investment potential, Amberlamb stated that visitor numbers went up by 11 per cent last year. This means that demand for rental accommodation in the country will have gone up by a similar amount,... more

Speaking to the Times, he said both the Romanian and Bulgarian economies are currently benefiting from high levels of investment from overseas. He added that their recent entry into the European Union and the increased personal wealth of local people has also created a favourable environment for investors. Mr Giddings commented: "I just felt there is more potential for capital growth in those markets." However, he conceded... more
