The prize for most original counter was given to the representative of the Bulgarian state agency on tourism after the official opening ceremony of the 8th Kazakhstan International Tourism & Travel Fair (KITF) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event will be held 24-26 April 2008. At the Bulgarian counter which is situated on an area of 32 sq. m besides the Agency of tourism, the tour operators “Bulgaria VIP tours” Ltd., “Solvex” Ltd. and “On Travel Bulgaria” are also presented. KITF is a prestigious exhibition, which is the most significant event in the region of Central Asia. It is conducted for the eight time and is organized by the British company ITE. KITF 2008 expects more than 30.000 visitors from all over Central Asian region. more
The Ukrainian property market has recorded remarkable rises in all its segments. Prices of retail, office and industrial areas have reached the highest levels in Central and East Europe (CEE) region, driven by lack of supply and boosted demand, Kyiv Post reported, cited by investor.bg. Overseas property buyers have been told of potentially lucrative investment opportunities in Bulgaria. Property Secrets said that demand for housing in the capital city Sofia is currently outstripping the existing level of supply. The organisation has stated that this is partly because people from rural areas are increasingly opting to move to the city. As a result, properties in Sofia are becoming highly sought-after and more and more expensive. Industrial mortars' manufacturer Maxit Bulgaria will open its plant in Radinovo industrial area near Plovdiv, the company’s business development manager Pavel Pavlov said, quoted by Dnevnik daily. The new plant embraces a 1.5ha plot and its annual output capacity is estimated at 150 000 tons. Construction of the enterprise finished at the end of last year. The plant opened for business with clients as of mid-February after the successful end of its trial period that ran from the turn of January and during which only trial orders were manufactured. Currently, the factory has 12 employees but this number is expected to increase to 30 by the end of the year.
