Bulgarian properties in the mountains
The mountains in Bulgaria have a spectacular beauty, own character and indigenous culture. Historically, the mountains have been the cradle of Bulgarian identity, culture and literature.
This is also the home of Bulgaria’s popular ski resorts. The main areas for property-buyers are Bansko in the Pirin Mountains, Pamporovo in the Rhodope Mountains, and Borovets in the Rila mountains. A fourth resort is located just above Sofia in the Vitosha mountains.

'albena' Resort Awaits 8,000 Tourists For Easter 25/04/2008
8, 000 tourists are expected to visit the Northern seaside ‘Albena' resort during the Easter holidays, May 1 and the Day of St. George (Gergiovden). That was announced by the vice-director of the resort Sonya Stoycheva. The guests will be mainly from Romania. Round 500 Bulgarian tourists are also expected. 12 hotels will be opened during the holidays. 2,000 Romanians arrive in ‘Albena' yet on Good Friday and reservations will be made during the weekend also. ‘Albena' resort has prepared surprise for its guests on Easter Eve. Night cruises to churches in near Balchik and Varna cities will be organized, so that the tourists could attend the interesting and picturesque Orthodox Church service. more

However, the first local C&A stores are not expected to roll out before 2010, the paper claimed. C&A is one of the largest clothes retailers in Europe, managing outlets in Latin America and China as well. Set up in The Netherlands in 1841, its biggest trademarks include Clockwise, Westbury and Your Sixth Sense.
