According to NuBricks.com, the region has experienced considerable economic growth during the past ten years. As a result, countries such as Bulgaria have become very popular with property buyers who want to collect good returns on their investment. Austrian ‘Baumax' opens on Monday, April 14 its first supermarket for construction materials in Bulgaria's city of Plovdiv. Second local outlet will be opened in Stara Zagora next week. Each one of the stores is on the amount of 10 million EUR. The retail area of Plovdiv's outlet is 12,500 sq m which makes it the biggest of its kind in Bulgaria. The supermarket in Plovdiv also will be drive-in. ‘Baumax' assortment will be divided in four sectors - constructions, interior, garden and instruments. New Vacation Property Projects Launched In Bulgaria 12/03/2008
More than four million sq m of vacation property are being constructed or planned in Bulgaria's resorts. In Blagoevgrad region, where the resorts of Banko, Razlog and Dobrinishte are situated, construction of more than a million sq m of vacation property was planned or launched, Yavlena real estate agency data show. The areas to be constructed were two times more than the figures for 2005, 24 Chassa daily said. Bourgas and Varna regions, where Bulgaria's biggest coastal resorts are situated, also saw an increase in the vacation areas to be built upon.
