Bulgaria To Demolish 57 Illegal Buildings On Seaside 10/03/2008
Bulgaria's Directorate for National Construction Supervision (DNCS), which started inspecting the legality of completed and ongoing construction along the Black Sea coastline on February 25, has already issued orders for the demolition of 57 units. Twenty five of them are on the north coastline and 32 are along the southern coast, the institution announced on its website. Аccording to the Spatial Planning of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coastline Act, which entered into force on January 1 2008, all entities erecting illegal constructions on the beaches were obliged to voluntarily demolish them within a month of the law coming into effect. Spains Bogaris To Invest 15 Million Euro In Rousse 14/03/2008
Spanish construction company Bogaris, formerly known as Grupo Detea, would invest 15 million euro in the industrial park in Slatina area of Rousse, local authorities said, as quoted by Dnevnik daily. The company would design and build manufacturing, storage and office premises, Dnevnik daily reported. The number of property investors interested in carrying out projects in Bulgaria's small towns is growing, according to Bulgarian-language daily 24 Chassa. The newspaper said that major property contractors in Bulgaria had accumulated capital in recent years, and most had decided to re-invest it in smaller towns. Still, the main share in the small-town property market was held by local contractors making their first investments. The factors encouraging property investors to invest in residential property and complexes were economic stability and a high return on investment.
