Increasing numbers of Britons are eyeing up property investment opportunities abroad as they look to indulge in some cheaper, sunnier, stress-free living. Research conducted by Foreign Currency Direct shows that ten million UK people are looking to buy a property in another country, such as Spain, in the next year and four million of these would like to live in their overseas home permanently. Some 14 per cent of those looking to purchase abroad were first-time buyers, suggesting that high prices in the UK are encouraging them to look elsewhere. Legislative changes, drafted by the Bulgarian government, may enable the state to apply summary procedures for seizing private properties if they impede private infrastructure ventures, as well as public infrastructural projects, Dnevnik daily wrote. Private power stations, water supply networks or waste sites will be categorised by the government as an infrastructure facility of national significance that may warrant the seizure of a particular private property and turning it over to a private developer. A new business building will be built in the eastern part of Burgas, according to the electronic issue Burgasinfo.The project named "Omega center" will have a total area of 12,6 thousand square meters.The complex will be located near boulevard "Stefan Stambolov" and will have two underground and five ground levels.56 parking places are to be constructed on the first underground level.The second underground level and the first ground level are for 24 stores and a cafe-bar.The connection between the two levels is realized by a passenger and a cargo lift as well as a staircase.The preliminary plans of the architects are that the building will be finished by April 2010. more
