Lufthansa To Repair Airplanes In Bulgaria From October 21/04/2008
The repair center for airplanes in Sofia will start working in October, announced Andreas Heizner, vice-president of “Lufthansa technique”, informed Darik radio. The German giant received a certificate for a 1st class investor through its joint venture with 'Bulgarian aviation group”, “Lufthansa Technique-Sofia”. The first airplane to be repaired in Sofia is Airbus A 320 owned by Lufthansa. It will arrive on October, 27. Heitzner added that for “Lufthansa technique” as a world company the presence in Bulgaria through “Lufthansa technique – Sofia” is extremely important. This is a very important member of our world network. Plaza Centers Acquires Sixth Project In Romania 15/03/2008
Plaza Centers N.V, a leading emerging markets property developer, announced on February 10 2009 that it had acquired a site in Hunedoara, Romania. The 41 000-sq m site near Hunedoara city centre would be developed into a modern shopping and entertainment centre, with a built area of 28 000 sq m, and 20 000 sq m of lettable space. The centre had a catchment area of 500,000 people in the region, the developer said. The development project is expected to cost approximately 37 million euro, with construction due to start in mid-2008 and be completed in the first quarter of 2010. Property Prices In Bulgarias Plovdiv Up By 47 Per Cent In 2007 10/03/2008
Bulgaria’s third biggest city Plovdiv turned out to be the record-breaker in property price increases in 2007, international real estate bureau Europolis said. Prices in the city went up by 46.5 per cent between January and December 2007, while the average increase in the county was 30 per cent, Dnevnik daily said. The value of two-bedroom apartments in the central part of the city increased the most, by 66 per cent. Shop rents in the same area reached 1000 euro a sq m. Daniela Dimitrova, manager of Europolis’s office in Bulgaria, said that the rate of property price increases in 2008 was expected to be slower than in 2007.
