Large parks, sports and entertainment, residential developments, as well as production and logistic facilities would be constructed in the region in the next seven or eight years, Pari daily reported. “Investors are already realising the potential of the northern quarter and starting to buy land there,” Pari said. Black Sea Highway In Project 03/04/2008
Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine will be linked with a highway route that will guarantee security, speed and comfort of transport. This is foreseen in the Memorandum for agreement for coordination development of the Black sea highway rink between the states members of the Organization for Black sea economical collaboration. The document is expected to be approved by the government at a today's session. Bulgarias Condominium Legislation Draft Flawed Expert 10/03/2008
The draft bill of Bulgaria's Condominium Act is ineffective and has been written in such a way as to serve the interests of heat, electricity and water utility companies, professor Vladimir Petrov from the Civil Association against Corruption and Illegal Construction said, as quoted by Dnevnik daily. According to Petrov, the draft law in its current form aimed to deprive properties from owners who do not pay their utility fees. If the draft law is approved by the Government, the heat, water and electricity utility companies will sign a single contract with the whole building as a legal entity and not separate contracts with each individual. New Complex To Offer 900 New Residential Units In Bulgarias Capital 12/03/2008
On March 15 the construction of a new residential complex will be launched in Bulgaria’s capital of Sofia. Residential Park will be built on 235 000 sq m and upon completion will feature more than 900 residential units, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported. Sofia mayor Boiko Borissov will attend the March 15 ceremony together with Bavarian minister of economics, transportation and technology Erwin Huber. German Lindner Holding is investor in the project. The complex will be of closed type and will be located in the southern part of Sofia, in proximity to Vitosha Mountain.
