The number of property investors interested in carrying out projects in Bulgaria's small towns is growing, according to Bulgarian-language daily 24 Chassa. The newspaper said that major property contractors in Bulgaria had accumulated capital in recent years, and most had decided to re-invest it in smaller towns. Still, the main share in the small-town property market was held by local contractors making their first investments. The factors encouraging property investors to invest in residential property and complexes were economic stability and a high return on investment. 24 Illegal Constructions To Be Demolished In Golden Sands Resort 18/03/2008
Direction of National Building Control (DNBC) issued 4 orders for demolishing of 24 illegal objects, built on the territory of resort complex ‘Golden Sands'. The procedure of the actual removing of the buildings is currently running. The order is about pavilions and illegal trade objects on the territory of the resort and doesn't include hotels. DNBC examined 121 beaches in common, 46 of then extremely state property on the south seaside of Bulgaria and 75 beaches on the north. 137 note acts for demolishing of illegal constructions have been made to the moment, as 54 of them are objects on the Northern Seaside and other 83 - on the Southern Black sea costal line. more

Mall Stara Zagora To Cost 72m Euro, Open Doors In 2010 27/05/2008
Real Estate Services Bulgaria, developer of retail complexes Mall of Sofia, Mall Plovdiv and Mall Rousse, announced plans to build a fourth retail-entertainment complex in Stara Zagora, RESB said in a statement. RESB will be partnering with food processing company Gradus-1 OOD, one of the leading companies on the Bulgarian poultry market. The 72 million euro project was showcased on May 27 in Stara Zagora to city officials, among them mayor of the town Svetlin Tanchev. The mall is scheduled to open doors in 2010. Vacation Property Supply In Bulgarias Winter Resorts Increases Four Times 13/03/2008
The supply of vacation property in Bulgarian winter resorts increased nearly four times within the past 18 months, Colliers International market research showed. From June 2006 to December 2006 vacation property offering increased by 50 per cent and the current number of offered properties is nearly 18 000, Bulgarian National Radio reported. Nearly two thirds of the vacation property for sale can be found in Bansko. High property prices in the resort are expected to influence the supply, which will possibly move to Borovets and Pamporovo, research showed. Vacation property offers at the seaside increased sufficiently in number, registering a 53 per cent increase for the period, Colliers said.
