New Town Constructed In Bulgarias Seaside 07/03/2008
A new town, with expected population of over 25 000 people, will be built within the next two years. The town will be constructed in the region of the Black Sea Popski bay, famous for its clear beaches, 24 Chassa reported. According to the investors' plans the villas and hotels in the town will host over 25 000 tourists during the summer season. The region is part of Tsarevo municipality. Tsarevo mayor Petko Arnaudov said that the most luxurious part of the town would be the Crocodile Shores complex. The new town will include several such complexes united by a modern infrastructure. Romanian Tourists Expected To Spend 1.2m Euro In Bulgaria During Easter 04/04/2008
About 10 000 Romanian tourists are expected to flood to Bulgaria’s northern Black Sea coast during the Orthodox Easter holidays. Easter Sunday, April 27 this year, and the next day are a public holiday in both Romania and Bulgaria, Standart daily reported. Romanian visitors are expected to spend about 1.2 million euro during their three-day Easter vacation, Stoyan Marinov, head of Tourexpo, the joint-stock company of Varna’s Tourist Chamber, told Standart. The average all-inclusive price per day in the hotels preferred by Romanians in the port city of Varna and the Golden Sands and St Konstantin and Elena resorts is between 30 and 40 euro.
