Overseas property investors have been advised to not to rule out seeking professional advice when buying abroad. According to a recent study by Defaqto, more than a quarter of buyers prefer to rely on their own judgement instead of consulting an expert. The research also showed that a similar proportion are likely to favour the advice of a friend or relative, while one in ten would consult their spouse or partner. Commenting on the findings, NuBricks.com urged people to overcome their apparent discomfort with getting a professional opinion. Over the past two years, Greece has staged a “real onslaught” onto the Bulgarian and other Balkan markets, Greek business newspaper Imerisia reported on May 7. Greek construction companies, mainly from the northern part of the country, have been building large residential, office and retail developments in Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and, recently, Macedonia. At the same time, hundreds of individual investors have been buying homes, which they either rent or use for recreation. Burger King Open First Restaurants In Bulgaria 21/05/2008
The first two Burger King restaurants in Bulgaria will be opened in June, informed from Amrest Bulgaria, the franchise company, quoted by the Dnevnik a.m. The two fast food locations will be at the City Center Sofia shopping mall and at Mall Varna. The official opening in Varna is foreseen for June 12. AmRest already operates for Burger King outlets in Poland. From the Dnevnik also informed that the Wroclaw, southern Poland- based company has non-exclusive rights to develop restaurant chains under Yum! Brands Pizza Hut and KFC in Bulgaria. In 2007, it opened it first KFC franchise in Bulgaria, at Mall of Sofia. A franchise for Pizza Hut restaurants in Bulgaria is also held by Excel Associates. more
