Second Major Tourism Complex To Be Set Up Close To Bulgarias Borovets 13/03/2008
A project similar to Super Borovets will be the second major development in the region of Borovets mountain resort. The tourism complex will be set up close to Maliovitsa, 24 Chassa daily reported. The zoning plan is currently drafted and will be finalised by May. According to plans, the project will feature five tourism zones that will accommodate between 8000 and 10 000 tourists. The complex will have 50 to 70km of ski tracks. Total investment will be calculated after the zoning plan is completed. Residential property prices in Bulgaria’s large cities are expected to increase 10 per cent by the end of 2007, predictions of real estate agency ERA Bulgaria show. Residential property prices in Sofia went up 16 per cent in the first quarter of 2007 and those in Varna 18 per cent as compared to figures for the last quarter of 2006, ERA managing director Teodora Dimitrova said as quoted by investor.bg. For the same period, vacation property prices at the Black Sea and winter resorts increased 22 per cent. The average price growth for the first six months of 2007 reached 25 per cent in some of Bulgaria's bigger towns. Prices Of Bulgaria Real Estate To Grow 15% In 2008 - Report - Sofia News Agency 27/05/2008
The global real estate company ERA has predicted a 15% increase in the prices of real estate properties in Bulgaria in 2008. According to ERA, the number of real estate deals in Bulgaria in 2007 grew between 4% and 5% to reach a total of about 325 000. 25% of the deals were made by foreign buyers. Two-room apartments with an area of about 60 square meters remain the residential property of greatest demand on the Bulgarian market, the ERA research shows. Bulgaria's annual increase of the residential credits is estimated at 62%, with an average annual increase of 7,1% in the Eurozone. The most preferred loans in Bulgaria are for EUR 30 000 with a 25-year repayment period.
