The ski resort of Borovets is going to become increasingly attractive for foreign property seekers, Asta Bridge executive director Anton Pankev said. During the coming winter season Borovets is to see a number of major projects, Pankev said. The execution of such plans was going to attract further interest, he said. Upon completion new property in the resort will be offered for sale at prices of 1200 euro per sq m, investor.bg reported. The lack of private plots in Borovets hindered its development, Pankev said. The number of owners offering land for sale was much smaller than the number in Bansko winter resort, he said. The 30th edition of Stroiko 2000 exhibition will open on March 26 at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia and will run until April 1. Stroiko 2000 is the biggest trading fare for architecture, construction and furnishing in Bulgaria. It takes place twice a year in spring and autumn, at the end of March and October. The exhibition area covers 5 000 square meters at NDK. Kayi To Build Serdika Centre 26/04/2008
Turkish developer Kayi was named as the main contractor of Serdika Centre commercial and business complex, Investor.bg reported. The site cited a news release from Sparkassen Immobilien AG, the real estate investment trust of Erste Bank, and the German investor and developer ECE Projekmanagement Bulgaria, the two investors in the project. Kayi is expected to hand the project over by 2010. ECE Projektmanagement and Kayi have already established a record of partnership, having jointly completed projects in other countries such as Lithuania. Currently, the centre, worth 210 million euro, is only at the digging-works phase. It will comprise 51 000 sq m of commercial area, about 200 luxury shops and 35 000 sq m of offices. Varna Presented On Tourist Expo In Bucharest 28/03/2008
Varna will be presented on the starting today Tourist market TTR in Bucharest, the local municipality announced. The ‘Sea Capital' of Bulgaria will be presened on the expo as candidate for European Culture Capital in 2019 year.   Varna will have own stand with surface 12 square meters. The 'Summer capital' will be presented picturesquely with big photos of sights of the city and stories about Varna museums. Bulgaria To Welcome 100 000 Danish Tourists In 2008 - Sofia News Agency 25/04/2008
The number of Danish tourists visiting Bulgaria is going to reach 100 000 in 2008. The prediction was made by the Danish Ambassador to Bulgaria Kaare E. Janson in the Black Sea city of Varna. His Excellency participated at a ceremony inaugurating the new Denmark's honorary consul to Varna Konstantin Daradanov, which took place in the Evksinograd Residence of the Bulgarian government. Janson pointed out that safety was the main requirement of the Danish tourists. In his words, the safety issue would be one of the main topics of the coming meeting of Bulgarian Foreign Ministry officials with the Ambassadors of the Scandinavian states.
