The authorised Toyota distributor for Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo regions (Central Northern Bulgaria) informed for intentions of investing 2,2 million EUR in a new auto service center in the city of Gabrovo. The complex, which is located in the Northern industrial zone of the city, includes offices, warehouse, service shop and a retail outlet for auto accessories, explained from the Dnevnik daily. The service center is expected to start functioning by the end of the year. The regime for the carrying out of investment projects in Natura 2000 protected areas was much less restrictive than the measures valid for national parks and preserves, head of the parliamentary environment and water affairs committee Georgi Bozhinov said. Bozhinov and Parliament speaker Georgi Pirinski met on January 23 representatives of environmental organisations demanding maximum inclusion in the European environmental network. All national parks would become part of Natura 2000, said Bozhinov. Investors had no reason to protest against the introduction of the network, said Bozhinov. Fairplay Properties Reit Borrows Money For Buying Plots In Sofia 03/04/2008
FairPlay Properties real estate investment trust (REIT), part of FairPlay International Jsc, has signed three loan agreements to secure cash for the purchase of land plots in Sofia residential district Studentski Grad, Dnevnik daily reported. Two of the contracted amounts are investment loans, amounting to 3.75 million euro and  1.35 million euro, while the third is a 1.14 million euro revolving credit. The company is considering buying four adjacent properties in Studentski Grad for the development of a residential and office scheme. The deal will probably be finalised by mid-April, Dnevnik wrote.
