Development of the area
The mega project in the area called “Super Borovetz Project. It's a government approved plan, setting exact planning guidelines for the development of the Borovetz area. Investment, both Public and private, is planned at 300 to 400 million Euros over the next 10 years. The project isn't just confined to Samokov, Beli Iskar and Borovets; it will benefit a much wider area. Other villages which will benefit include: Govedartzi- The road connecting it to Samokov will be completely improved.
