Bulgarian beer ‘Boliyarka' company starts to export beer for Spain and Cyprus. The abroad sales are planned to reach capacity of 70 to 100 thousands hectoliters beer. Thanks to the six new cylindrical containers for fermentation of the beer the sales are expected to increase with 5-10% and the export to Romania to double. German 'plus' Plans To Invest 250 M Eur In Bulgaria Till 2011 28/03/2008
Plus, part of Germany's Tengelmann group, plans to complete a E250m investment in Bulgaria by 2011, according to corporate communications officer Nicole Dinter. The company plans to build a logistics centre and develop a network of 150 stores across Bulgaria within a five-year period from its entry into the country in 2006. "We intend to open our logistics platform near Sofia in the first quarter of 2009," Dinter said. The warnings towards purchasers of property in Bulgaria become more frequent in foreign media, Dnevnik daily said. A number of articles about investment risks and overestimating financial returns from Bulgarian property had been published in British newspapers, Dnevnik said. The property sector was connected to organised crime, some articles said. An article in The Independent said that in many Eastern European countries, especially in Bulgaria and the ex-Soviet countries, organised crime invested in property to launder its money.
