John Cutts, the founder and chief executive of commercial property developer Parkridge, is continuing his expansion into East Europe, the Financial Times reports. Although the entrepreneur's initial plans envisaged expansion to Poland, due to its key location, he also saw good opportunities for investment in retail compounds in Bulgaria and Ukraine. Seven retail centres have been erected in Warsaw since Parkridge’s accession to the Polish market, which means that it might be over-supplied soon, the developer said. $ 600 million figured out to be the Turkish investments in Bulgaria, on the official Bulgarian - Turkish business forum became clear. Bulgaria ranks third in the world in terms of property price growth in 2007. Average sale real estate prices rose by 36 per cent last year, whereas rentals posted a more modest mark-up of 6 to 7 per cent nationwide, reaching 10 per cent in Sofia, Deyan Kavrukov, head of Bluehouse equity fund and a former partner at Equest, said in an interview with public television channel BNT.
