Bulgaria Gets Originality Prize At Kitf 2008 26/04/2008
The prize for most original counter was given to the representative of the Bulgarian state agency on tourism after the official opening ceremony of the 8th Kazakhstan International Tourism & Travel Fair (KITF) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event will be held 24-26 April 2008. At the Bulgarian counter which is situated on an area of 32 sq. m besides the Agency of tourism, the tour operators “Bulgaria VIP tours” Ltd., “Solvex” Ltd. and “On Travel Bulgaria” are also presented. KITF is a prestigious exhibition, which is the most significant event in the region of Central Asia. It is conducted for the eight time and is organized by the British company ITE. Investment In A Tworoom Apartment In Sofia Repays In 15 Years 14/03/2008
The purchase of a two-room apartment in Sofia pays off in about 15 years, according to Industry Watch’s calculations for the fourth quarter of 2007. Only three months before, i.e. the third quarter of last year, a similar investment paid off in 13 years and at the end of 2006 the repayment period was 10 to 11 years. Residential sale prices increase at a quicker pace than rentals, so accounting for the slowdown of returns on these investments, the think-tank comments. Rental levels cannot increase faster than the growth of average disposable income, Industry Watch analysts say, and they foresee that it will be one of the propellers for residential sale price correction. Local Btc Invests 110 Million Eur In 2008 28/03/2008
Bulgarian Telecommunications Company owned by AIG insurer informed that will invest 110 million EUR in 2008. The sum will be used for improvement of its services and expand of the broadband network, Reuters informed. BTC Chief Executive Officer Bernard Moscheni told media that the company will invest a 20% share of the total revenue of BTC in upgrading the network and services. Last year BTC's revenue was 970,7 million BGN (485 million EUR). more
