More Than 30 000 Vacation Apartments Offered For Sale In Bulgarias Resorts 12/03/2008
More than 30 000 vacation apartments are offered for sale in the Bulgarian coastal and ski resorts, data of Colliers International for the Bulgarian property market in the end of June shows. Black Sea coastal resorts offer nearly 22 500 apartments for sale. Over the past year supply has increased by nearly 6000 apartments, 24 Chassa newspaper reported. The increase, compared to supply in June 2005 is 37 per cent. Apartments at different construction phases are offered for sale. Most of the property offered for sale is located in major resorts like Sunny Beach and Sozopol, the Colliers International report said. Construction Of Bulgarias Borovets New Lift Begins 12/03/2008
Construction of the first gondola lift above the town of Samokov will begin in October 2007. The construction is part of the Super Borovets project and will continue 12 months, Monitor daily reported. The capacity of the new facility will be 2500 people an hour and its speed will be six metres a second. Borovets’s new lift will reach the Markudjitsi ski runs and its route will be 9.2km long. Simeon Peshov, president of Glavbulgarstroy, which is Super Borovets’s main investor, said that negotiations with the French Poma and the Austrian Doppelmayer were held for the construction of the lift. Samokov mayor Angel Nikolov said that the groundbreaking for the lift was scheduled for October 8 2007. Construction of ski runs will follow the lift's construction. more

Mall To Be Build In Haskovo Town 09/04/2008
Bulgarian company ‘Marsa' announced plans to construct a shopping mall in Bulgarian town of Haskovo (Southern Bulgaria). The project is foreseen to cost 20 million EUR and to be the first of its type in the city, told from Dnevnik. It will be developed over an area of 4,800 sq m. Among Mall Haskovo tenants will be local retailers ‘Zora', ‘Technomarket' and decor retailer ‘Domko'. The 4-storey building will have a build area of 20,000 sq m. more

The municipality council of Shabla town presents land for three golf resorts, money.bg reveals quoting local online daily. The construction works still hasn't started, but the project foreseen to extend over 1,400 decares seaside lands is at its most advanced phase. One of the golf complexes, which will include residential part, swimming pools, hotels, garages and perking lots, will be constructed over an area between Tiulenovo village and Shabla lighthouse (North - Eastern Bulgaria). Eu Accession Affects Insignificantly Bulgarias Property Market 12/03/2008
Bulgaria's EU accession failed to cause significant change in the local property market, Forton International Property  Adviser representative Valeri Vulchev said. An increasing number of conservative investors was interested in the Bulgarian property market, Vulchev said as quoted by Focus news agency. An investor carrying out a project costing at least 30 million euro in less then five years is considered conservative, Vulchev said. Such investors were interested in Bulgarian real estate because the market was undeveloped and limited as compared to the European property market, he said.
