Dncs Issues 193 Demolition Orders For Seaside Buildings 01/04/2008
Bulgaria's Directorate for National Construction Supervision (DNCS) has issued a total of 193 orders for the demolition of illegally constructed buildings, including 94 on the north coastline and 99 along the southern coast, DNCS head Ivan Simitchiev told a news conference in Bourgas on March 31, as quoted by Dnevnik daily. All of the developments were located on the beach-front. A fair number of the violations were ascertained in establishments serving food. A common transgression was their sewerage conduits being septic pits sprawling on the beach, which was highly inadmissible, Simitchiev commented. Eu Cash To Upgrade Bulgaria's Transport Infrastructure 20/03/2008
Almost two billion euro is expected to come to Bulgaria from EU funds for the period 2007-13. The money will be used for repair works of all first-class roads and railway lines between Sofia and the Black Sea coast. The money will also be used for granting on concession the Trakia, Maritsa, Struma and Cherno More highways as well as all Bulgarian airports except the one in Sofia. According to an action plan presented by Gagauzov, one billion euro is expected to come from the EU Cohesion Fund. The fund aims at helping countries reach EU standards. The money will be used for reparation works of nine roads and the ring roads of Montana, Vratsa and Gabrovo cities. Us Prologis Pours Another 91.7m Euro In Real Estate Across Europe 02/04/2008
ProLogis European Properties, a subsidiary of the United States-based company ProLogis, specialised in logistic space, plans to invest another 91.7 million euro in real estate across Europe, Europe RE real estae website reported. The amount will be invested through the company’s investment fund ProLogis European Properties Fund II (PEPF II). The fund was set up in August last year by ProLogis, when it announced its plans to pour 600 million euro in property by the end of 2007. Bulgarian Airplane Spartan To Be Shown At Biggest World Airshow 01/04/2008
The Bulgarian military transport airplane 'Spartan' will be shown at the biggest world airshow 'Farnborough', 'Trud' daily informed. The show is conduced every other year and this year it will be in the United Kingdom in July. With a letter to the Bulgarian Ministry of defense, the Italian company-producer “Alenia aeronautica” has requested the Bulgarian plane to be presented at the airshow with the company bearing all the expanses. Usually, the giants in the aviation industry participate in the “Farnborough” airshow. 1480 companies from 35 states took part in the last show.
