The most expensive electricity in the European Union is paid by the Denmark's households - 24,5 EUR for 100 kWh. The cheapest is in Bulgaria - only 6,80 EUR, was announced by Eurostat. After Denmark the most expensive electricity is in Italy - 23,4 EUR, in the Netherlands - 21,80 EUR and in Germany - 19,4 EUR per 100 kWh. Electricity price under 10 EUR is also in the three Baltic countries - Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. more

Scottish Company Buys Mall In Bulgarias Coastal Varna 12/03/2008
Scottish company Miller Developments purchased Mall Varna for 120 million euro, consultancy company Forton International reported. The sales negotiations lasted more than a year and involved consultants from Forton and Cushman&Wakefield, investor.bg reported. The construction of the mall itself was launched a bit earlier by the investor Interservice Uzunovi. Gross built-up area of Mall Varna was 70 000 sq m. Nearly half of the mall’s area, 32 000 sq m would be offered for rent. The mall should be opened within half a year. Pavlina Nikova, Forton manager for the project, said that there were already tenants for 26 000 sq m of the area to be rented.
