Current supply of logistic space in Sofia still lags behind demand and rentals, which currently come to as much as 5-6 euro a sq m, higher than in most countries from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region and rivaling prices in the United States and Western Europe, Andriana Petkova, managing partner in ProCon International Property Consultants, said at a discussion on trends and new ideas in real estate investment, held on March 5. Tourism Strategy Finalised Kroushkova 05/04/2008
The tourism strategy is finalised and is now being discussed by the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water Affairs, the head of the State Tourism Agency Anelia Kroushkova told a news conference, as quoted by Dnevnik daily. The strategy needs to get the nod from all ministries, then put to a vote from the Government. The process is expected to take several months. The blueprint forecasts a revenue increase of 20 per cent in each of the years through 2013. Tourism industry players believe this growth rate is unrealistic.
