Bulgaria With Cheapest Construction In Eu 09/07/2008 The prices of construction in Bulgaria are the lowest in EU, despite their value have increased significantly during the last year according to a research of EC Harris Consultation Company. The expanding of the European Union has a strong influence over the construction industry in Eastern Europe, as in many of the new countries - members the prices of construction have marked strong raise during the last 12 months. For Bulgaria it is over 20%. The research takes as basis of comparing the prices of construction in Southeastern England, which is accepted as coefficient of 100 basic points. Plovdiv International Fair Starts Today 12/05/2008The Bulgarian minister of economy and energy Peter Dimitrov will open today in Plovdiv the International fair of consumer goods and technologies. 991 companies from 36 countries have registered for participation in the event, 668 of which are Bulgarian. Most of the foreign companies are from Italy, Poland, Germany, Turkey, Greece and Spain. The new participant countries are Ukraine, Norway, San Marino and Singapore. After a several years break, the Arts Exhibition “Impression”, which is in the framework of the fair, will be held again. The undoubted attraction of the fair will be the Panagyurishte gold treasure.
