Revamp Of Culture House In Plovdiv Starts April 7 05/04/2008
Repairs and revamp of the Trade Unions' Culture House in Bulgaria's second largest city Plovdiv and its re-purposing into an arts centre will start on April 7, the consortium that will carry out the works said on April 4, as quoted by investor.bg. The official launch of the project will set out with a presentation of the architectural and building design in Saint Petersburg Park-hotel. The consortium comprising Greek developer Aktor and its Bulgarian subsidiary won the tender under the Public Procurement Act at the end of last year. Construction In Bulgarias Bansko Winter Resort Stops 12/03/2008
Construction work in Bansko during winter season 2006/2007 will cease after the municipality and representatives of 53 construction companies agreed on the proposal. Starting December 5 2006 digging within the resort should cease and will be allowed only outside its area, Bansko mayor Aleksander Kravarov said. All trucks will pass outside the resort, without disturbing Bansko residents and tourists.
