Sofia Will Have Second Sofia Land 20/03/2008Sofia mayor Boyko Borissov and the head of the State Agency for Youth and Sports (SAYS) Vessela Lecheva discussed the construction of new amusement and sports complexes in Sofia, Bulgarian language daily Standart reported on March 20. A new amusement park, similar to the former Sofialand, will open doors near Sofia’s Zapaden Park (West park), the capital’s chief architect Petar Dikov told Standart daily. Sofia city hall will invite a concession for the garden near Zapaden Park in the coming months. The place is very appropriate for a new amusement park, because there is no car traffic nearby, Dikov commented. British Real Estate Consultant Names Bulgaria Worlds Strongest Property Market 10/03/2008 Bulgaria was the world's strongest property market in 2007 with an estimated turnover of 11.36 billion euro, an increase of 2.36 billion euro over the previous year, British property investment company Obelisk said on February 1. The previous lack of modern apartments, retail, and administrative buildings, as well as growing investment in tourism, production, and the need for modern infrastructure caused the construction boom.
