Fairplay Properties Buys Land Plot For 5.7m Euro 15/04/2008FairPlay Properties real estate investment trust (REIT), part of FairPlay International Jsc, has sealed the deal to buy a 8700 sq m land plot in Sofia's Studentski Grad neighbourhood for 5.7 million euro, value-added tax excluded, Dnevnik daily reported on April 14. The land will be used to build an apartment building and an office building, the daily said. The REIt plans to invest 22 million leva in the apartment building, starting construction within months and completing it by end-2009. The office building will cost 35 million leva to build. Shoumen Region To Spend 80m Leva On Road Repair 14/03/2008More than 80 million leva will be invested in road reconstruction in Shoumen area by end-2009, regional governor Todor Todorov said on March 10 2008, as quoted by Bulgarian news agency (BTA). The first tranche, 10.4 million leva, has already been transferred. It is earmarked for the rehabilitation of second-class roads between the villages of Radko Dimitrievo-Hrabrovo, Hitrino-Struino, Vekilski-Nikola Kozlevo and Venets-Yassenkovo, he said. The necessary financing to repair two lanes of Hemus highway in the Kaspichan-Nevsha village section has been secured, as well, Todorov added.
