More Construction Plots In New Master Plan Bulgarias Tsarevo 11/03/2008
The new master plan of Bulgaria's coastal municipality of Tsarevo envisions an enlargement of the areas where construction would be allowed. The new plan included all areas, bordering on terrains already designated for construction in the municipality, investor.bg said. Some of the newly included areas in the plan were part of the Strandja nature park, but the municipality said that construction in those areas should correspond to the legislation for construction in nature parks and could only be started after approval from the Environment and Water Affairs Ministry. Us ITT To Invest $400 Million In Bulgaria 11/04/2008
US company ‘ITT', active in the defence and civil sectors, plans to invest $400 million in Bulgaria, told from Balkantel, the company's local representative, quoted by Dnevnik a.m. ‘ITT' plans to build new production facilities as part of its local expansion. The company is after one of the major contracts for the modernisation of the Bulgarian armed forces: the procurement of communication and information systems for the general staff, land forces, navy and the air force, sources told Dnevnik. For the purposes Bulgarian Defence Ministry should pick a foreign strategic partner with prior experience in the development of systems employed. ITT has been chosen for that partner. more
