At least eight projects for hotel construction in Bulgaria's Hisarya spa resort have already received approval, Hisarya municipality said. The town is famous with its healing mineral springs, investor.bg reported. Bulgarian and foreign investors showed their interest in the town. Large plots feature among the most wanted terrains for the construction of hotels, spa centres and smaller vacation houses. Prices in the centre of the town reached 70 to 80 euro per sq m. The most attractive areas are the terrains close to the mineral springs and hotel Augusta. The new residential construction is offered at average prices of 800 euro per sq m. Land Plots Worth 262m Euro Sold In Bulgaria In 2007 10/03/2008
Sales of land plots for construction in Bulgaria totalled 262 million euro last year, according to data of consultancy firm Real Capital Analytics (RCA), Pari daily reported on February 18 2008. The report includes data on the performance of office, retail, hotel, industrial space and buildings plots on real estate markets worldwide, but only for deals above 10 million US dollars. In Bulgaria, RCA registered 10 large-scale purchases of plots for the construction of office buildings, which accounts for more than 30 per cent of the big deals in the country.
