Ribaritza is situated along the both sides of the scenic road from Teteven to Troyan, winding along the valley of the river “Belli Vit”. The village is more than fourteen kilometers long, and some parts are situated inside the mountain ridge.
Ribaritza is not a seasonal but all the year round village – resort and the climate is extremely mild for a mountainous area. Southward are the borders of the biggest preserved territory in Bulgaria – The National Park “Centralen Balkan”, a member of the European net of preserved territories PAN Parks. The municipal centre – the town of Teteven – is situated 13 km. north-west from Ribaritza and 20 km. north-east from it is the village of Shipkovo, famous for its healing hot water.
Ribaritza has good communications and convenient road network. The village has a population of over 1400 inhabitants.
