House Price Increase In Bulgaria Highest For Europe, Second Worldwide 30/04/2008
According to data published by Globalpropertyguide.com, house price increases in Europe over the past year ending in Q4 of 2007, were highest in Bulgaria. Bulgarian houses increased by 34.61 per cent, closely followed by Poland with a 33 per cent increase. House prices in Estonia increased by 23.38 per cent. Prices in Sweden, Lithuania, Cyprus and Estonia increased by between 11 and 19 per cent. Increases in other European countries were in the single digit range, with Portugal, Latvia and Ireland reporting house price decreases. Spanish Company Invests One Billion Euro In Real Estate And Energy Projects In Bulgaria 13/03/2008
Spanish company Ferry Group will invest nearly one billion euro in one real estate and one energy project. The company focused its investment plans on tourism, real estate and agriculture as the key economy sectors in Bulgaria, head of Ferry Group Manuel Ferry Sanchez said. The value of each project can reach up to 500 million euro, investor.bg reported. The real estate project initially included the construction of only a golf course near Sofia region village of Kutina. Planned investment later increased to between 400 to 500 million euro.
