Three new hospitals will be built in the space around Medical academy, announced the chief architect of Sofia - Peter Dikov for the municipal council from the commission for the environment. The councilors approved the proposed development plan for the area of the Medical complex on the capital boulevard - Bulgaria.

The plan concerns the territory between Akad. Ivan Evstatiev Geshov, Sveti Georgi Sofiiski street, Boulevard Pencho Slaveykov, Zdrave street and Khan Presian street.

Mr. Dikov explained that the three unfinished buildings in this area, which were supposed to be medical centers , will be demolished. On their place will be constructed three new hospitals and four parking lots. In this way will be solved problems which existed for many years in this part of the capital - the lack of parking places for the visitors and for the employees of the hospitals.
