Holidaymakers looking to save money on their summer holidays should consider taking a holiday in Bulgaria, it has been reported. According to Balkan Holdings, the eastern European holiday destination is much cheaper than many of its European counterparts. Chris Northam, managing director of Balkan Holdings, added that its popularity as a holiday destination stems from this very fact. "It's a lot less expensive - not just to buy property, but to enjoy your holiday or enjoy your retirement or whatever," commented Chris Northam, managing director of Balkan Holdings. State Agency For Tourism Initiates An Advertising Campaign Of Bulgarian Tourism In Russia 14/03/2008
Bulgaria's State Agency for Tourism will promote the country as a tourist destination to Russians. It has launched an advertising campaign, including 30-minute videos, to be broadcast on the Rossiya Channel and on Channel One in the Russian cities of Yekaterininburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Samara, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Kransnodar, Perm, Rostov-na-Don, Omsk - between February 18 and February 29. A second advertising campaign will take place in the same cities between May 5 and May 25. Three shorter videos will also be shown on the NTV and TVC channels in the Moscow region, St.Petersburg, Yekaterininburg, Novosibirsk, Samara and Rostov-na-Don.
