Privatization Or Liquidation Of 'bulgartabac'? 26/03/2008
There is a possibility for the two factories to be liquidated, stated Shuleva in an interview in local BTV. She defined the deals as ‘pure robbery'. According to her words, there was interest towards the licenses and the market, not to the machines and equipment. If small factories with licenses are going to be sold trough the market, this will lead to drop in the prices of the big enterprises, ex Minister Shuleva explained. Because of the already delayed with years privatization of ‘Bulgartabac', the market of the company drops from 100 to 60%, adding that the state has no long-term policy in the sector. The privatization of the factories in Plovdiv and Stara Zagora will additionally ruin ‘Bulgartabac', Shuleva believes. more
 
 
Interest On Real Estate Credits In Leva Increases By 1,2% In August 30/09/2008
The average percentages on housing credits in leva in August increase by 1,18 percent points on a yearly basis up to 9,53%, according to data by the Bulgarian national bank. Those in Euro increase by 0,46 percent points up to 7,94%.The average interests on consumer credits in leva increase by 2,33% up to 11,66, while those on other credits increase by 0,98 points up to 12,92%.The yearly percentage of expenditures on consumer credits in leva in August 2008 is 12,74, as compared to August 2007 the increase is 1,81%.The yearly percentage of expenditures on real estate credits in leva compared to the same month in 2007 increases by 1,32 points up to 10,35% and those of real estate credits in Euro - by 0,65 points up to 8,83%, the data shows. more
