Penny Market Unveils Plans To Build Hypermarket In Shoumen 21/05/2008
German discount store chain Penny Market announced plans to build a five-million-euro hypermarket in the town of Shoumen, company representative Miroslav Boulva told municipal councillors, as quoted by Dnevnik daily. The company plans to buy 4000 sq m in the area of the former commercial-industrial zone in Shoumen, of which 1000 sq m will be used for the building itself and the remainder for the construction of 250 parking places. The hypermarket will cater to budget customers and will sell primarily Bulgarian food and non-food goods. Nearby, the company plans to build a large warehouse, its second after the one in Sofia. Bulgaria Pays Back To Japan $45.35 M 17/04/2008
Today, 15 April, an operation for pre-term acquittal of the rest of the debt under credit agreement between Bulgaria and the Japanese bank for international cooperation (JBIC) under FESAL II loan (Second loan for restructuring of the financial sector) which is worth JPY 4 579 678 746.00, including the due interests, was implemeted, informed the ministry of finance. According to today's exchange rate, the paid amount is around $45.35 M.
