Fairplay To Build A New Hotel In Sofia 20/03/2008
FairPlay International (FPI) will build a new city hotel near the Kempinski Hotel Zografski in Sofia, according to Dnevnik Daily. The Hill Hotel, part of the FPI Hotels and Resorts chain, should welcome its first guests in September. The 48-room hotel will apply for a four-star category rating. It will boast a business center, Hill Tower, which will be housed in a separate building. In addition to conference facilities, Hill Tower will also offer office premises, parking lot and storage facilities. FairPlay (FPI) is an investment, development and construction company. Spain Zara Lands In Bulgaria 21/03/2008
The Spanish apparel brand Zara has already rented a 1,800 square meter unit in the future Carrefour mall in Sofia, to be located in Tsarigradsko Chausse Blvd. The retail chain will enter the Bulgarian market directly through its Spanish manufacturer Inditex, David Davidov, manager business space in Colliers consultants, said in an interview with Kapital weekly. The mall is expected to open in the second half of 2009. Currently, Zara does not have a store in Bulgaria, but its old collections are sold through the Z Outlet chain of stores in the country.
