This large plot is located in the new developing ski resort in the town of Berkovitsa. What is worthy for this plot is its location. The plot is exactly where the first cabin lift (part of the project) will be build. The plot is 7000 sq m large and not regulated at the time being. The land is situated next to where the first stage of the project will be achieved. There is an asphalt road passing by the plot which provides good access.  The highest peak in Berkovitsa Mountain – Kom /2016/, offers the best conditions for alpine skiing in the western part of Stara Planina. The region has good prerequisites for development of a mountain, climatic and tourism resort of local and national significance. The sport tourism area is situated in the Berkovitsa part of Stara Planina, over 900 meters and up to 1940 meters above the sea level. Its natural development spreads along the region from Kom peak to Berkovitsa and Barzaya village. The relief is various and is positioned to the north and north east, with an average inclination of 10 and 50%. The snow cover lasts at least 4 months. The now existing piste is 800 meters and is serviced by two ski drags. The project plans the construction of 6 cable cars.Seat lift 1 and seat lift 3 will connect the highest parts of Middle and Small Kom. Seat lift 2 will connect the two directions of the zone and will service the applying ski slopes. Seat lift 4 will connect Shtarkovitsa peak with Barzeya village. The last two will be used, if bad meteorological conditions do not allow the use of the previous two.Berkovitsa will also be connected by a cable car 6 (cabin lift) with Kom Peak. Each one of the zones will be serviced by lifts and will offer a well maintained ski slope. The ski zone will offer 9400 meters lifts with a capacity of 1045 people per hour.Slopes for snowboard, training roll ban, shooting ground and biathlon track will be constructed.A helicopter ground will be constructed in the Shtrakovitsa region. The now existing hotels in Berkovitsa and ski centre com will be reconstructed and additional hotel accommodation will be build to service up to 5000 guests of the resort. One fifth of the capacity of sport tourism complex “Berkovitsa Balkan” will be for year around use.Numerous eco trails, and tracks for mountain biking, together with the suitable conditions for delta and Para gliding are very attractive for mountain tourism during the summer. Extreme downhill can be organized on the ski slopes during the summer.Make a wise investment and take part in the project!!!
