New Ukrainian Businessman Interested In "kremikovtzi"

Representatives of the richest Ukrainian businessman and member of the parliament Rinat Ahmetov will meet today the bankruptcy trustees of "Kremikovtzi" in order to discuss the possibility the company of the billionaire to enter as an operator in the Bulgarian metallurgy enterprise.This announced Lyudmil Pavlov, leader of the "Podkrepa" trade union in "Kremikovtzi".Pavlov said also the "Bulgargas" had sent a letter to the enterprise that the gas supply will be canceled on November 1.Earlier today, the syndicates, bankruptcy trustees and the operative leadership of the "Kremikovtzi" gathered for a working meeting in the enterprise.Last week Mittal was in a better position for the purchase of "Kremikovtzi" compared the Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Zhevago."Areclor Mittal", owned by Pramod Mittal's elder brother Lakshmi, announced in April that the company was interested in the purchase of 71% of the "Kremikovtzi"."Arcelor Mittal" announced that if it succeeded in the bidding, it would combine the efforts of the Bulgarian company with the big iron ore mine, which Mittal owned near Krivoroj in Ukraine and from where it could transport the ore to Bulgaria.Because of the financial crisis one of the most affected is exactly "Arcelor Mittal". According to an economic analyzer, who commented for The Times, the reduction of the wealth of the Mittal family is the most drastic one. Lakshmi Mittal and his family have lost 20 billion pounds for the last five months.The 58-year old Indian businessman, who owns 43% of "Areclor Mittal", had 27.7 billion pounds last year and held the first place in the list of the British billionaires.
