The final deadline for declaring agricultural lands is running out

July 31 is the last possible day for the owners of agricultural land to submit declarations for their agricultural lands, which confirm their usage.

If the owners miss the final deadline, the land will be marked as if it has no owner and is not used for anything. Then it will be offered for rent for other leaseholder.

The declarations must be submitted in the Municipal Agriculture Offices. The demanded documents that have to confirmed with the declaration are either notary deed, or resolution of the Land Commission or sketch. The declaration must indicate the number of the property, the area, the category of the land and the preferred form of tenure.

If the land owner has signed a lease or rental contract, it must be also submitted, but by the users.

With the amendments of the Law for ownership and use of agricultural lands, submission of such declarations should be done annually.
