The Bulgarian hotels cheapest in Europe

Bulgaria is the cheapest tourist destination in Europe. The average price for an overnight stay in our country is 55 euro. This shows the information on "Trivago" - the largest price comparison site for hotels.

After Bulgaria, ranks Romania ( 61 euro per night) and Hungary ( 81 euro per night).

The comparison is made based on the prices of hotel rooms in 50 cities and 24 European countries.

The prices of hotels in Athens also marked a decrease, reaching 88 euro a night. This is a decrease of 22,8 % in comparison with five years ago, when the night in June 2008 was worth 114 euro.

In Madrid prices also marked a slight decrease, reaching 101 euro per night. In Lisbon, the price has jumped by 30 % compared to last year, as now it is 130 euro per night. Rome marked a decline of 4.4%, and the cost is 154 euro.

As for Istanbul, which has been rocked by demonstrations and riots over the past week, the average price per night this month there was 146 euro, which is an increase of 3 % compared to last year.

The price for accommodation in Barcelona is the same as that in the Turkish megacity.
