Found fully preserved Roman tomb in Separeva banya

Constructors of a private guest house in the resort Sapareva banya found fully preserved Roman tomb, reported from the Historical Museum in Kyustendil
When started immediately archaeological research has identified 24 graves, the first of which date from the 4th century BC, others are of later eras. Immured in one of the walls, discovered flagstone with inscriptions.
Probably this is a family tomb, as preserved remains of a man, woman and child, as well as the remains of cremation. It is assumed that the man was a military, evidence of this are found army sandals.
The architecture is still intact. For its construction was used pink mortar, which proves that the owner of the tomb was a wealthy and significant in the military hierarchy, commented by the team of archeologists in the field.
