Englishmen again look to 'hot' property in Bulgaria

There are no many places in the world where you can buy property for less than 20 000 pounds. Inside Bulgaria has such places. It might sound like an unusual choice, but this former communist country is becoming a hotspot for real estate - at least while avoiding the Black Sea coast. Inside the country will enter the slower world where traditional Bulgarian way of life is valued and beautiful landscapes are not marred by large-scale construction, writes British newspaper the Daily Mail.

Although coastal resorts on the Black Sea are preferred by most British buyers over the past seven years, there has always been market and rural areas within the country, noted experts in real estate, announced Focus.

Most attention attracted Veliko Tarnovo - the old Bulgarian capital and surrounding villages.
