Complete rough construction of Mall Pleven and 44 percent of the land are leased

Construction of the rough stage of the Mall of Pleven is finished. It is expected in the coming months that the engaged in carrying out construction site people will reach 700 and over 85% of the overall performance will be carried out by the end of January 2010, final completion of construction is planned for April 2010.

Investor in the project is Aladin Ltd., owned by businessman Aladin Harfan, who also owns retail chain Technolux. Prime contractor for the site that was selected is Sofstroy AD. In most stages of the construction site there were 200 people employed, but in the final stage they have reached 250. The total gross floor area inclusive of two underground and three above ground levels is 48 thousand square meters, retail space over 17 500 square meters, with plans of opening over 100 retail stores.

Currently rented land in Mall Pleven is 44%, as a few days will reach 50%. A major tenant in the mall is the French giant Carrefour, which occupies a 2400 sq m on the ground floor. Mall Pleven is being built in downtown at the former tobacco factory. The total project is estimated at over 80 million, which the company received certificate for first class investor.
