Belgrade Property Prices To Compete With Sofia Levels

Serbia's property market seemed unattractive until recently, but things were about to change, 24 Chassa daily said.

The country's property market is expected to develop at fast paste, stimulated by Serbia's new constitution, allowing foreigners to buy property in the country.

Bulgaria's luxurious property market was much more developed than the Serbian, 24 Chassa said. Purchasers could buy lodging disposing of all extras in the Sofia's suburbs for 800 to 900 euro per sq m.

Prices in Sofia varied from 500 to 900 euro, depending on the location. The land in Bulgaria's capital was more expensive. In Belgrade  the most expensive land costed 500 euro per sq m.

Office and industrial property in Serbia's capital was more expensive than in Sofia but the situation would change when intensive construction began and the supply increased, 24 Chassa said.
