Agricultural land with a new value

By 31 July market for rent of land would be as much valid as the market for sale.

We have to remind that in relation with the preparation of agreements for use of land for business during 2012 - 2013, each owner must submit a declaration in the Municipal Agriculture Office,according to the location of the property.This declaration has to contain the form of managing the land and the period of using it.

The declaration shall be filed within 31 July 2012 personally or by empowered person and is valid for the next marketing year. If the owners do not want to include some parts of their properties for use, they have to mention this fact in the declaration.

According to the latest information during the first six months of 2012 the interest is observed to agricultural land in areas, which were outside investors and tenants' interest so far. These are Haskovo and Stara. Zagora where a tangible competition is noticed.

He said that there is a growth of 10-15% the first half of 2012 in Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo and Montana, while in Vidin, it is a little lower.

The market for land is stable and harvest.The crop has very good quality. Prices of wheat and barley are higher than last year, but yields are lower.

If the drought does not have effect in spring crops (maize and sunflower), my expectations are that the prices of the agricultural land will continue rising in the next months, said the experts in the field.
