The village is very picturesque, situated in the Rusenski Lom National Park (protected area) 35 km from Ruse - the fifth biggest city in Bulgaria. The village has around 200 inhabitants, 1 shop/bar, post office, library, and a daily bus to and from Ruse. The nearest main shopping town Dve Mogili is a 20-minute drive away.
