Foreign investment fund is buying 3000 finished apartments in Sofia

A financial institution acts on the property market in Sofia by buying thousands of apartments in Sofia from companies forced by the crisis to sell on very low prices. This was announced for the Bulgarian national radio by the chairman of the Bulgarian association of the residential builders - Plamen Beninski. He admited that the branch is working under the pressure of the real estate market in conditions of the financial and economic crisis.

I will simply say that there is one organization which has the task to buy 3000 apartments in Sofia - said Plamen Beninski and added that he is talking about a foreign investment fund, which he denied to name.

The process of buying the 3000 apartments started in the Spring of this year - 2009. The investment fund though works on the Bulgarian real estate market for a few years.
