Expected recovery of the office market

Currently the state of the office market is much better than it was in 2009 or the beginning of this year. It told the Monitor Tanya Kosseva-Boshova, executive director of European commercial center. There are signs of normalization and office demand is greater. Firms make longer term plans for their businesses and move to a new office with more favorable rent. A year ago, entrepreneurs just listened and were less active, she added.

According Boshova there is already a clear segmentation between modern office buildings in good locations and others, which is reflected in rents, which have large differences. Most active in searching for new offices are pharmaceutical, technology and financial companies which are already in our market, said Tanya Kosseva. Still not many foreign companies seeking ploshtiq to settle in Bulgaria. Now most of them having many offices, seek to bring together and therefore employ 10-15 thousand square, she added.

I expect next year Rents will remain stable, but market activity will increase in all business segments, predicted boss of ECC. Firms will continue to seek better offices for better prices and least wanted to be firms which do not meet even the most elementary requirements concluded Tanya Kosseva-Boshova
