Property prices in Sofia are increasing

64 200 is the average price of purchased apartments in Sofia in the third quarter. This shows the data of some of the real estate agencies in Bulgaria.

The price remained almost unchanged compared with previous months, but on an annual basis a rise occurs.

The average bid levels of sq.m have fallen slightly - from 747 to 741 euro for three months. A year earlier the price was 710 euro/sq.m.

According to some brokers, this can mean that the bottom of the prices it was probably in the second half of 2012, or early 2013.

Now we can say that market recovery in the capital of Bulgaria began. However, experts state that is not expressed in a rapid increase in prices. It would rather lead to a moderate and sustainable growth in a medium and long term.

It becomes clear from the analysis that sales in Sofia have increased by 10% for one year.

With 20% have increased and sales of vacation properties in the sea resorts.

The average price of a sq. m of sold apartments in Sunny Beach for the third quarter was 570 euro. On average one property costs 33 700 euro.

In the winter resorts, however, demand was weaker, although this summer there have been more transactions in comparison with the previous one.

The average price on the basis of actual transactions in Bansko and Pamporovo was 375 euro per sq.m.

Borovets continues to hold the highest prices, and transactions are concluded at levels averaging about 600 euro/sq.m.
