Land prices stop rising

Up to 1500 BGN reached the price for acre agricultural land in some parts of Dobruja. The high prices got many sellers out on the market. As a result, prices have already stopped growing and even there is a slight fall on some places, shows the analysis of the agricultural Ministry.

The greatest demand for land is in the Northeast Bulgaria, in Dobruja there isn't even one barren acre. The weakest market is in the western part of the country.

Currently, the average prices of agricultural land in Bulgaria are moving between 400 and 700 Eur depending on the category. In some areas such as the northeast Bulgaria, Dobruja, some parts of Bourgas and Stara Zagora prices exceed 1000 Eur, there are even pitches in Dobruja with cost 1500 Eur.

According to the experts the time of chaotic buying and selling land has passed. Now on the market are impose serious players, who are looking for agricultural estate with a large area, high quality and good location.

In the recent years were accomplished transactions in which businessman bought dozens, even hundreds of thousands of acres of land. Recently the Union of agricultural cooperatives offered by law to be set an upper limit on the ownership of farmland.

What are the trends in the market of land? It is expected a slight reduction in prices of fragmented estates in unattractive areas. At the same time, despite the deadlock on the market there will be increased interest in transactions with consolidate land.
