In the eye of crisis, luxury home owners have no heat problems

The Bulgarian nation is still waiting for 36 hours to pass and for natural gas to come from Russia. Last night it emerged that the heating company in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia Central Heating, supplied large quantities of gas to luxury real estate properties. The Ukrainian government agreed to resign the contract for Russian gas supply to Europe without attaching the declaration, which made Russia cut supplies. Today the energy ministers of EU countries will discuss possible measures to protect the EU from suffering a similar crisis in the future. There may be an agreement for "solidarity in the energy sector", allowing each country to turn to its neighbors in times of need. Bulgaria is still waiting for 36 hours to pass and for natural gas to come from Russia. Russia is the only source of gas for our country. All heating companies nationwide are operating normally. We are being assured that nobody is in danger of having to take a cold shower. However, last night it emerged that the heating company in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia Central Heating, supplied large quantities of gas to luxury real estate properties. SCH director Petko Milevski assured that if the radiators are cold it is not his company's fault; the power circuits are inefficient. However, the heating companies are operating on oil residue at the moment, and not all facilities have the capacity to. Milevski added that Sofia residents will not be overcharged for heating. Under the decree of education minister Daniel Valchev all schools throughout the country will be open today. Around noon it will emerge whether the unplanned school holidays in some parts of the country will continue after the principals measure the temperature in the classrooms. If it is under 18 degrees Celsius the vacation will continue.
